Stop running...

Stop running from your purpose.

We all arrive at a point in our lives that maturity, life lessons, and spiritual growth brought us to. We are looking for our divine purpose in life. We seek God to reveal to us why we were created. The question, "What are we placed on this earth to do?" is consistently sitting on our hearts. We pray, fast, and seek God for this revelation. When our purpose is finally presented, most go through a spectrum of internal phases such as: excitement, fulfillment, wholeness, doubt, abandonment, and recommitment.

We initially are excited and hit the ground running, ready to create and place all the ideas that occupy our brains into motion, but what happens when that eagerness fizzles out? How can we reignite the spark that once captivated our every thought? The answer is simple, STOP RUNNING.

The thought of me being transparent and vulnerable was once liberating and therapeutic. It then changed into fear and not wanting to revisit emotions that are normally hidden and stored away. It became easier to just let life take a front seat to a divine purpose I fought my whole life to receive. The recommitment was necessary for my sanity and necessary for my journey of continued growth. I had to redefine what I thought was pressure into purpose. I had to fall in love again with something that once brought me joy. I had to get inspired and intentionally seek refuge in something I was deliberately running from.

Life has many ups and downs. We experience growing pains. We experience triumphs and we experience defeats, but it's never to late to get back on track and allow God to continue to use you.

Spend sometime with your purpose today....

xoxo
